Lorrin Koran, M.D.

Dr. Lorrin Koran received his M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School in 1966. After completing his residency at Stanford, Dr. Koran served as Assistant and Associate Professor at the State University of New York at Stonybrook until 1977, when he returned to Stanford. Since that time he has served as Associate Professor and Professor of Psychiatry (Clinical) at the Stanford University Medical Center. In 1982 he was accorded the honor of Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He has directed the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Clinic at Stanford since 1988.

Dr. Koran is the author of 85 articles, 22 book chapters and 1 book, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders: A Comprehensive Clinical Guide, Cambridge University Press, 1999.
